In
this phase hulled rice undergoes careful inspections in order to
determine purity, humidity, percentage of defects and market productivity.
Then by means of particular machineries,
unhusked rice is cleaned from any kind of impurities, such as little
stones, earth, straw, dust and other foreign bodies. The machinery
used for this part of the processing is called SIFTING
MACHINE. A further phase on a magnetic shell keeps any possible
ferrous impurity.
